Just me. I like to shake what my mama gave me. I'm a social drinker w/ my homies while chillin' at the bar or watching some crazy arse B-movies. Love me some Prince and Morrissey as well as a whole plethora of different genres of music. Hmmm... I do not allow MJ to "borrow" my M.A.C. cosmetics. "When I hear music, it makes me dance..."
I don't know if it's just the number 30 setting in and feeling like I should be totally grown by now with my shite together or not. I've still got got a couple of weeks until I hit that dreaded number. I know many people who enjoy 30, but I also kn… Continue
Woah it's so warm over there! It's freezing here in Boston, keep that in mind if you plan a visit. Maybe spring is more appropriate if you want to put your nose outside:)
It's nothing but exams and papers for me till Dec. 16 - boo! So I hope I can hop on an LA-bound plane soon after.
What about you? How much holidays do you have in Dec/Jan?
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving Day. It was tofu turkey for me [I'm vegetarian].
How's life been treating you lately, Moonstar? For me here, it's madly busy at grad school, but in a good way. I've befriended a girl who's starting her own business here in Boston and LA, and I'm planning to visit her office over there in LA in Dec, I'll drop you a line if I'm the area!
Central Valley sounds cool to me, I'm sure it's much milder there now than in freezing Boston:) But do let me know if you plan to visit. I've heard that there is a special annual Prince event here in Boston in April, mark your calendar!
I'm still hoping to organize one day my own P party here... I'm even toying with the idea of starting a P Club for Boston/New England... Utopia on a royal scale:)...
You are 3 hours away from both LA & SF? Mmm... you wouldn't be in Carmel by any chance?:) I've been to both [Carmel Valley and Carmel beach] - beautiful!
Now that I'm in Boston we should arrange a trip to Mpls! Btw, is it true he is leaving LA and going back to Mpls?? With all the travels lately I've lost track of things.
And I soooooo envy you for seeing not once, but twice at that - Morrissey in chicago!
Lucky you, I've never been in Chicago. It's definitely on my holiday travel list as soon as I'm on the other side of the pond. And Minneapolis too - for some reason I'm obsessed about it:) God I can't wait, right now I'm bored in Belgium...
I'm sure Cali is more exciting.
Have a great August!
I'm half way through this relocation nightmare, making a little stop in Belgium (my home country) on the way.
I just got my US visa today, yuuupeeee! Flying to Boston on Aug 4.
You're welcome to visit, I'll receive you with ice cream and lobster (I hear it's a local specialty too).
In fact, we could have a Boston P-party, it's long overdue imo, or even an OWB one, why not.
Hope you have a cool Sat&Sun over there in Cali - and July 4th, it goes without saying!
Here in Moscow I'm spending the weekend packing [to relocate to Bean Town:)].
I hate bags, packs, boxes, suitcases and the like right now!
